Our delightful shabby chic self-catering property has access to a large public green courtesy of the Globe at Hay perfect for lawn games or a sunbathe, or enjoy the afternoon sun in the cottage’s enclosed gardens complete with furniture.
The kitchen, modern in style and complete with essential amenities including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
The rustic style lounge, complete with a wood burner, is the perfect setting for you to relax after a day exploring. Sit back, catch up and watch a film on the HD TV, or play board games in the dining area with a table and chairs for six.
Location
Smallbrook is perfectly placed for exploring Hay-on-Wye and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Just a five-minute walk from the River Wye, the cottage is ideally situated for riverside walks, peaceful picnics and, during the warmer months, swimming and canoeing.
For those looking to venture further afield, the Black Mountains and Hay Bluff are just a short drive from Hay, offering spectacular walks and panoramic views across the Welsh Borders. Closer to home, Hay-on-Wye itself is a wonderful day out, with its famous independent bookshops, quirky shops, regular markets, award-winning cafés, local butchers and plenty of places to stop for a drink or bite to eat.

The cottage is located behind The Globe at Hay, one of Wales’ favourite live arts venues offering a whole host of entertainment including art exhibitions, comedy, community events and live music.
